EOAfrica ARIES 'Project Achievements'
The EOAfrica ARIES project aimed at exploring the potential of next generation hyperspectral and thermal satellite missions for high-resolution drought monitoring in Africa.In this final webinar, the project team will focus on the lessons learned from developing drought indicators based on hyperspectral (EnMAP, PRISMA) and thermal (ECOSTRESS) precursor mission data.
Aside from highlighting the scientific advancements, the team will showcase some practical applications for Zambia and the Sahelian region, discuss future potential and demonstrate integration of developed workflows in the Food Security Explorer platform.
